Structural Engineering Group
In the past 15 years alone, ITE’s Structural Engineering Group (SEG) prepared final design and PS&E packages for over 30 bridges. From structural design to construction inspection and management, the SEG handles virtually everything bridge related including bridge inspections, load and fatigue ratings, seismic analysis and retrofit, BRPRs Bridge/Deck Inspection Evaluation Reports, vulnerability assessments, preliminary design and final design plans, specifications, and cost estimates. In addition, SEG delivers construction support services, shop drawing reviews, and constructability reviews.
The SEG also delivers the full scope of ITE’s expertise in the design and management of pavement systems along with the latest practices, technologies, and software for pavement management to collect, analyze, and report data on projects. We create detailed databases covering features, inspection records, roads, signs, and bridges, with links to popular GIS/CADD programs. But that’s not all.
Because structural engineering and bridge design requires in-depth expertise in varying disciplines, the SEG partners closely with select firms specializing in environmental assessment, soil mechanics, geotechnical engineering, landscape architecture, and more. As a result, the SEG delivers seamless, comprehensive, broad-ranging, one-stop expertise for clients.
